Not the only outfit protesting

As far as Bigg Boss is concerned, there have been opposition from multiple sides over the show. The Karni Sena protested against Indian culture being ‘ruined.’  Another outfit Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad too expressed the same concern. The Brahmin Mahasabha also opposed it. The President of the Uttar Pradesh Nav Nirman Sena, claimed that he won’t eat food till the show goes off air.

The Confederation of All India Traders has written to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar accusing the show of ‘tarnishing’ the country’s traditional and cultural values. BJP MLA from Ghaziabad, Nand Kishor Gurjar wrote to Minister Javadekar demanding the show be banned for promoting ‘vulgarity’.

One of the reasons for the outrage is a new concept ‘Bed Friend Forever’ wherein a male and female contestant have been seen sharing a bed. Even the communities that the contestants belong came into the picture in the allegations made in this and that the show had resulted in ‘Love Jihad’. A task where the contestants share objects through their mouths too attracted attention.
