Chhoti Sardarni Cast: List of actors and the characters they play

Choti Sardarni is an Indian Hindi TV series airing on Colors channel at 7.30 pm from Monday to Friday and is also available for streaming on Voot. The show is about women empowerment and how Meher, the lead character, fights for her child's safety and rights. The show unfolds an unordinary love story between Meher and her husband, Sarabjeet.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia as Meher

The main lead of the story is played by Nimrit Kaur, who in real life is 24 years old and a lawyer. The character of Meher is shown as a simple-hearted girl who is very kind and has her own set of ethics. She lives at her own will and is not afraid of expressing her feelings. Meher is shown as a truthful woman, who does not hide anything. She loses the father of her child whom she conceived out of wedlock. When Meher’s mother fixes her marriage with a much-sorted person, Sarabjeet, Meher does not hide about the child and is honest with her prospective husband.

Avinesh Rekhi as Sarabjeet

The character of Sarabjeet, who is the husband of Meher, is played by Avinesh Rekhi. He was seen in several television shows. The character of Sarabjeet is that of a calm person. He is a single parent and a widower. In the serial, he is depicted as very supportive and encouraging towards his wife.

Kevina Tak as Param

The role of Param, the firstborn of Sarabjeet, is played by Kevina Tak. Even though Kevina Tak plays the role of a boy on screen, in real life, she is a five-year-old girl. Kevina comes from Gujarat and started doing ads only when she was a two-year-old. Earlier this year, she was seen in the Bollywood film, Bharat, which starred Salman Khan in the movie. In the TV series, Choti Sardarni, Param was born to Sarabjeet and his first wife. After Sarabjeet’s second marriage, Param’s maternal grandmother wanted legal custody of him and challenges Sarabjeet in court of law. While Sarabjeet and Meher love Param, they must do everything to be able to keep Param with themselves.

Hitesh Bharadwaj as Manav

Manav is played by Hitesh Bharadwaj, who had made his television debut with Agar Tum Saath Ho. Manav’s character is seen as a very kind man who is in love with Meher. Manav is a very humble man who does not like to see anybody unhappy. In the show, however, he faces premature death.

Anita Raj as Kulwant

The character of Gulwand is played by Anita Raj. She is the mother of Meher and the sarpanch of her village. She is depicted as a very dominating strong-headed woman. She is believed to have been responsible for Manav’s untimely death.
