FRIENDS: The most underrated friendships on the Friends TV show

Twenty-five years ago, an American sitcom, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, aired for the first time. The show starts with a runaway bride, Rachel, who meets her friend Monica. Rachel then decides to stay with Monica and befriends Monica's friends, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Monica's brother Ross. Rachel is a rich spoilt girl who leaves her lavish lifestyle to be independent. Staying with Monica and after interacting with her friends, Rachel learns about their ways of living.

The show is all about the bonding that the 6 friends share. About how these friends are always there for each other no matter what. The show completed 25 years and it is still very popular among the audience. The show did show some mainstream friendships like Joey and Chandler, Monica and Rachel. But there were also many sweet moments on the show that involved the other cast. These are some underrated friendships on the show

1. Ross and Phoebe

The time when Ross learns that Phoebe never got her first bike, Ross actually goes and gets her the kind of bike that she always wanted. Ross does not only get her the bike but also teaches her how to ride it. When Phoebe refuses to learn to ride the bike, Ross attaches supporting wheels on her new bike so that she can ride it.

2. Ross and Joey

The "Best Nap Ever", who would not remember that? The time when the two fall asleep on the couch, and after getting up they both are extremely awkward about it. But Joey, who liked the nap, asks Ross for another nap. Later, by the end of the episode, Ross and Joey are both caught napping together by the rest of the friends. Bromance at its best.

3. Chandler and Rachel

Remember the "Desert stealers living outside the law"? In the episode, Chandler and Rachel first bond over the cheesecake and are later seen fighting for it. Both finish the first cheesecake and steal the second cheesecake, and they later fight over sharing the cake. 

4. Phoebe and Joey

Phoebe is vegan and also is pregnant in season 4 which is when she craves to eat meat. Joey, the foodie of the group, decides to sacrifice non-vegetarian food until Phoebe delivers the babies. Joey does this so that Phoebe does not have to live with the guilt of extra animals dying because of her.
