The auditions for this year’s season started a few months ago. The first episode of Indian Idol season 11 aired on Sony Television on October 12, 2019. This year Anu Malik, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani are going to be the judges, while Aditya Narayan will be the host.

Indian Idol Contestant Diwas Kumar:

A twenty-two-year-old young man from Jharkhand proved that where there is a will there is a way. Diwas Kumar hails from Jharkhand. He eloped from his home just to give wings to his dream of becoming a singing star. The first place he went to after arriving in Mumbai, the city of dreams, was J.J. Arts College. He could not get inside the college premises because of security reasons. He started looking for work after that. Diwas Kumar, after struggling for a few days, got a job at a canteen. His work was to wash utensils. Soon he was asked by his employer to serve tea in every department of that college. He used to watch students paint and draw their creativity on canvasses. Diwas Kumar’s hobby is to paint. Therefore, he enjoyed watching them.

For his audition, he sang Kailash Kher’s Saiyaan. His melodious voice won the hearts of the judges and gave him a golden ticket to the show. Besides Diwas Kumar, the eleventh season of Indian Idol will have participants like Harman Singh, Azmat Hussain, Gurdeep, Deepak, Stutee Tiwari, Adriz, Chelsi, Harshdeep, Kailvalya, John Oinam, Kumar Sahil, Nidhi Kumari, and Shahzan.
