Indian Idol 11: Written update of the Great Grand Premiere episodes

The singing reality show, Indian Idol has started its season 11 with 15 contestants who will compete for the title. The show took a kickstart on October 12, 2019. After auditioning thousands of participants, the judges Anu Malik, Neha Kakar, and Vishal Dadlani presented the top 15 contestants in the Great Grand Premiere that aired on November 2 and 3. The show will be telecasted on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30 pm on Sony channel.

Saturday - November 2 - First Episode of Great Grand Premiere

Host Aditya Narayan started the show and introduced the 15 singers. Moving further, contestant Kaiwalya Kajikar performed first. Second contestant Adriz left a good impression and got a standing ovation from the judges. Marathi singer Rohit Rau sang Jee Karda and the original singer of the song Divya Kumar was also welcomed before Rau's performance. Judge Anu Malik, while praising him, rushed from his seat to the stage to give him a hug. Punjabi singer Padamshree Hans Raj Hans was specially invited for contestant Sunny's performance, who vocalised Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's song Halka Halka Suroor for the day. Sunny earned applauses from the judges, and also sand a song with Hans Raj Hans after his performance. Performer Rythm Kalyan also impressed the judges with his performance. Wrapping up with the day, comedian Krushna Sudesh tickled the funny bone of the audience as his popular character Sapna.

Sunday - November 3 - Second Episode of Great Grand Premiere 

Starting the episode, Rishabh Chaturvedi sand the song Afgan Jalebi. Later, the judges seemed to enjoy contestants Nidhi Verma and Jannabi Das's performances. Judge Neha Kakkar also joined the stage after Jannabi's performance and sang The Humma Song with her. Contestant Subhadeep Das Chaudhary from Kolkata was praised by all the judges. Contestant Chetna Bhardwaj's performance made the judges shake a leg too. Adding a pinch of comedy after contestant Chelsi Behura, Vishal Dadlani, Chelsi's mother, Aditya and Neha had a fun moment. Wrapping up with the Great Grand Premiere, contestants Shahzaan Mujeeb, Stuti Tiwari, and Pallav Singh delivered a melodious performance.
