The film is slated to release on October 12 and will be Kapil's first project after he went missing from the limelight.

On Saturday, October 6, Kapil took to Twitter to announce that his television show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is returning to the channel that it was aired on. This will mark Sharma's comeback on television after his show was taken off air due to his health issues. Kapil Sharma will be returning to the small screen with 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. Reports suggest that the new season will be helmed by 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' director Bharat Kukreti. The first season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' was taken off-air following the controversy wherein Kapil had a brawl with his co-stars mid-air, resulting in Sunil Grover walking out of the show. Kapil made a comeback with 'Family Time With Kapil' on March 25, which was also pulled off-air given the comedian-turned-actor's health.
