Preeta finds Prithvi at her doorstep, but Shrishti is suspicious of his intentions. He says he has come to meet Sarla because she mentioned that she is unwell when they spoke on the phone. He stressed how his relationship with Sarla has become very friendly and she talks to him about everything. Shrishti says that she thinks he still wants to marry Preeta, but she denies it saying that he has no such intentions and he is a lot better than Karan who left her hours after getting married to her.

In the Luthra house, Mahira is conflicted with her feelings about marrying Karan. She is happily thinking about the time Karan took care of her and wonders how it will be when he falls in love with her. She then remembers how Karina had told her that she has to get Preeta out of Karan’s mind if she wants to be with him. Meanwhile, Karina is thinking about what Mahira had said about Karan and Preeta. Mahira says that Preeta is a good person and Karan and Preeta had a good friendship, but all that is in the past now. Nobody is forcing Karan to do anything if he chose to stay away from Preeta and get married to someone else that is his decision and she has no part to play in it. Karina is very happy to hear this.

Rishabh tells Sameer and Karan that when he woke up in the morning Sherlyn was looking at him weirdly. Sameer gets a call from Shrishti, so he guietly excuses himself. Karan tells Rishabh not to think too much about it because wives are always thinking about one thing and saying something else. Rishabh asks if it’s the same case with Preeta if the hate she shows towards Karan is actually out of love. Karan gets upset and is about to leave but Rishabh tells him he was kidding. Sameer calls Shrishti who tells him about Prithvi’s visit. She says that she wants Preeta to move on with Karan. Sameer informs her that Karan doesn’t know anything about the marriage and he hasn’t even agreed to get married. He asks her to meet in a café nearby.

Sherlyn is visibly annoyed at not finding keys to the safe, and then find a bunch of keys and decides to try them all out. Prithvi, at Aurora house, is showing a lot of love and concern for Sarla. He tells Sarla that he feels guilty of not being their son-in-law. He also tells her to give him a chance to be the son she once believed him to be. Sarla gets emotional and hugs him.
