Shammi Kapoor's real name was Shamsher Raj Kapoor. Shammi made her debut in the industry in 1953 with Jeevan Jyoti. Throughout his career, the actor delivered fine performances in films Tumsa Nahi Dekha, Dil Deke Dekho, Professor and Kashmir Ki Kali. Though the late actor's persona and charm cannot be imitated perfectly, some modern era actors can evidently replicate Shammi Kapoor's iconic roles.

Kashmir Ki Kali - Ranbir Kapoor

The 1964 film featured iconic song Yeh Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, Ranbir Kapoor paid homage to the song in his 2011 film Rockstar. Ranbir replicated the song on screen paying respect to the late actor. Being from the Kapoor family himself, Ranbir looks like a perfect fit to essay the character of Rajiv Lal in a remake.

Junglee - Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh is evidently known for his charming persona. The actor has essayed the roles of over-the-top characters in his films which makes him a good choice to play this character. Shammi Kapoor's famous song Chahe Koi Mujhe Junglee Kahe featured in this film.

Teesri Manzil - Vicky Kaushal
