The Crown is a historical drama television series about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, who is the longest-reigning monarch and oldest-serving head of state in the world. It was created by Peter Morgan and it is one of the most acclaimed and popular shows on the streaming giant, Netflix's platform. The season 3 of The Crown debuted on Netflix on November 17, 2019, and focuses on the period between 1964 and 1977. With this season, a new set of characters have been introduced, played by actors new to the show.
