Will Hiten Tejwani Essay the Role Of Mr Bajaj In 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'?

Ever since Ekta Kapoor announced the sequel of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, a lot has been speculated around the casting. Until now, only the actors playing the lead characters Prerna and Anurag have been confirmed.  While Erica Fernandes will be seen as Prerna earlier played by Shweta Tiwari, Parth Samthaan will portray the role of Anurag played by Cezzane Khan and later Hiten Tejwani in the first edition of the show.  

Rumour mills had started churning out reports that actor Hiten Tejwani who played the lead in the latter half of the first edition, has been approached to play the role of Mr. Bajaj. However, when the web portal Pinkvilla contacted Hiten Tejwani, he refused the reports and said that he was not approached for the role. However, when asked whether he would be willing to take up the role if offered, the actor said that he would definitely take up as he feels that it is a brilliant role.

Well, that brings to rest all the rumours surrounding Hiten Tejwani playing Mr. Bajaj. In the first edition, the role was essayed by Ronit Roy. Reportedly, Karan Tacker was initially offered the role, but things did not work out well.  Apart from the role of Mr. Bajaj, there are reports of Hina Khan playing the evil Komolika in the sequel, while Barun Sobti will be playing Mr. Bajaj. However, both the reports have not yet been confirmed or denied by the makers or the actors.

The first teaser of the show had revealed Erica Fernandes as Prerna. In the second promo, the king of romance Shah Rukh Khan was seen introducing the lead pair with a short monologue.

‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ will air from September 25 on Star Plus.
