'Satish Kaushik would tell me stories about old Bombay'
Speaking about his onscreen father in an interview with Bollywood Life, Adarsh Gourav said that it was beautiful to work with Satish Kaushik. He further talked about how Kaushik always had a lot of stories to share, especially about the Bombay of older days back when the latter first arrived in the city to pursue a career in films.
“He would tell me how localities like Veera Desai and Versova would be back then, or about the day when auto rickshaws suddenly emerged on the streets of Bombay,” Gourav said.
The Hostel Daze actor further described Kaushik as "a man with so much experience, humility, and so much humor,” calling the actor’s demise a "terrible loss for all of us, to not have him around anymore."

Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9
Adarsh Gourav who first made an appearance in My Name is Khan, shot to fame for his performance in the movie adaptation of The White Tiger. Gourav's performance in the show also earned him a BAFTA nomination. Satish Kaushik, the veteran actor-director, passed away in March, earlier this year. Kaushik was very active on the acting front till his last days. In fact, there are some films and shows featuring him which are yet to be released.
