The buzz around the forthcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, featuring Yash from KGF franchise, is intensifying as fresh details surface. Earlier today, Yash unveiled a dramatic new look, sending shockwaves of speculation about his character's appearance in the film. Now, in the latest development, director Geetu Mohandas has reportedly added another lead actress from Bollywood, further solidifying the lineup.
Tara Sutaria to join Yash starrer Toxic?
Toxic is expected to be a thrilling action film set during the drug mafia era of the 1950s to the 1970s. Yash, known for his role in KGF Chapter 2, stars as a gangster. The film is in the process of casting its lead actors.
According to the sources, Tara Sutaria will play one of Yash's two romantic interests in this eagerly awaited action thriller directed by Geethu Mohandas. Tara Sutaria is known for her roles in Apurva and Ek Villain Returns. Moreover, Kiara Advani will reportedly play the other romantic lead. The film is expected to feature a strong cast of female characters, with Nayanthara, known from Jawan, cast as Yash's sister, and Huma Qureshi bagging another significant role.
When will Toxic get released?
The film's production began in June and is set to continue through the year, with a planned release date of April 10, 2025. The full casting details are yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Yash is currently immersed in Nitesh Tiwari's epic project, Ramayana, but will return in September to resume filming of Toxic. Yash and Venkat K Narayana are jointly producing the film under their respective banners, Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions.
