Alpha, Thalapathy 69, Kanguva Have One Thing In Common: Bobby Deol As Antagonist

Bobby Deol is aceing a new phase of his career by taking on villainous roles, not just in Bollywood but also in South Indian cinema. His career took a turn after his appearance in the 2020 streaming series Aashram, where he portrayed Baba Nirala Kashipur Wala, a corrupt godman who exploits his power for crime and political influence. The crime mystery drama was a hit, with fans amazed by Junior Deol's performance. Following this, he played another antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, earning the IIFA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role. As he mastered the bad, his demand has now soared with powerpack lined up.

Bobby Deol plays the villain in Kanguva with Suriya

Siva's directorial Kanguva stars Suriya in the lead role, with Bobby Deol making his Kollywood debut as the antagonist. Set for release on 14 November, the film will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, in both 2D and 3D formats. 

The cast also features Disha Patani and Natarajan Subramaniam, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Bobby Deol in NBK109 with Balakrishna

NBK 109 is directed by KS Ravindra and features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, with Bobby Deol as the main villain. The cast also includes Urvashi Rautela, Payal Rajput, Ravi Kishan, and Prakash Raj, while Dulquer Salmaan plays a key role. 

S Thaman has composed the music for the film. The movie will be hitting theatres at the start of 2025.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu with Pawan Kalyan

This period action-adventure film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and features Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, set during the Mughal era. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist, Emperor Aurangzeb. 

The cast also includes Nidhhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi, and Nargis Fakhri, with music by MM Keeravani.

Alpha with Alia Bhatt -Sharvari Wagh 

Bobby Deol has taken the role of a villain in an upcoming spy film by Yash Raj Films (YRF), which will be the seventh instalment in the YRF Spy Universe. 

He'll portray a ruthless antagonist, facing off against Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The movie is currently in production and is set for release in 2025.

Thalapathy69 with ThalapathyVijay

Bobby Deol will portray the main antagonist in Thalapathy 69. The film marks the Tamil cinema icon Thalapathy Vijay’s last project before he embarks on his political career, fully committing to his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
