Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were among the many attendees at Umang 2023 held in Mumbai on December 23. The gala night is an annual event organised to celebrate and honour Mumbai Police. Among the many highlights of the night was the performance of duo Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. 

Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff make heads turn at Umang 2023 

Several videos and photos from the night have been doing rounds on social media. A particular video shows Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff making a smashing entry. The actors who will share screen space in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Singham Again, made an impressive entry on police cars. 

In the video, the actors can be seen balancing on two cars. In the video they can be seen greeting their fans and members of Mumbai police seated in the audience. Tiger wore denim jeans and a t-shirt, looking casual and cool, while Khiladi actor sported a white shirt and black cargo pants for the occasion. Social media users have been cheering for their movie together in a video that captured their big debut. The actors will soon co-star in the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff receive backlash 

While the smashing entry of the actors is going viral on social media, the actor duo have received flak for misusing state property. Some fans and followers of the actors have accused them of disrespecting the police vehicle by riding atop it at the event. Both the actors have not responded to the backlash yet. 

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Varma arrive for a star-studded night of Umang 2023 

The annual event Umang hosted by Mumbai Police was a star studded affair that saw the presence of Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor among many others. Umang is a Mumbai Police Welfare Fund’s initiative, which is held annually every year. Alia looked graceful in a white and red floral pant suit set. She opted for a minimal makeup look, with her hair left open, and completed the look with matching heels. Kiara Advani looked breathtaking in a black saree, with golden border. She paired it with a matching halter neck blouse. While, her husband and actor Siddharth Malhotra wore a black casual coat and pants, with striped tee shirt. He completed the look with white sneakers.

The talk of the town duo, Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol, who have recently won hearts of the audience with their performance in action thriller ‘Animal’, were seen sharing a warm hug and laugh at the event. Kartik Aaryan arrived in his ‘Chandu Champion’ look, while Vijay Varma looked dapper in blue striped coat and pants. The other celebrities who attended the grand event were Jackky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh, Kriti Sanon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tamannaah Bhatia, Geneila and Riteish Deshmukh, Kailash Kher, Farah Khan, Tabu, Babil Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty, Zeenat Aman, Kailash Kher, Badshah, including several television stars.
