Abhishek Bachchan took a nostalgic journey back to his 2013 blockbuster, Dhoom 3 on the completion of the film's 10 years. " Sharing a set of unseen and interesting photos and stills from the sets, the actor, who played the lead role as ACP Jay Dixit wrote, “Marking 10 years today. ”. Dhoom 3, considered a cinematic redefined the cop and robber genre, not only captivated audiences but also ignited a nationwide craze for bikes. Bollywood's vehicular action remains indelible a decade later.

Abhishek Bachchan, delivered an excellent performance as ACP Jay Dixit, including Aamir Khan, Uday Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, each playing crucial roles in the films's success. Abhishek Bachchan's illustrious career also further solidified its status as one of the most celebrated franchises in Hindi Cinema. A decade ago, Dhoom 3 blended into high-octane action with a riveting storyline, Abhishek Bachchan essayed the role of ACP Jay Dixit whose acting prowess contributed significantly to the film's legacy.

As per reports, the film grossed ₹400 crore (US$68.26 million) worldwide in just ten days, to become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time at that time, before becoming the first Indian film to cross ₹500 crore (US$85.33 million). Dhoom 3, is a 2013 Hindi-language action, mystery, and thriller film. 

Dhoom 3 inside details

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and stars Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra, and Jackie Shroff, the film is about  a circus entertainer who robs a corrupt bank in Chicago to avenge his father's death. The film also has glimpses of bike chases and heist sequences.

With a cast of over 60 actors and seven major songs, the film was widely released in India on December 20, 2013.

Reportedly, the film took inspiration from Christopher Nolan's 2006 film, The Prestige. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie also starred Katrina Kaif in a prominent role, apart from the original cast of Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
