Kabir Khan is currently busy with the shoot of Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion. As per reports, the director will soon begin work on his next film reportedly titled Babbar Sher. While there is no official announcement for the film yet, reports suggest that the film will star an A-list star.

Kabir Khan wishes to collaborate with A-list star 

A source close to the filmmaker has informed Pinkvilla, that Kabir Khan is all set to direct his next film titled Babbar Sher. He has begun work on the film along with his writing partner Sumit Arora. The movie is slated to be a larger-than-life drama. 

The source told the publication, “As the title suggests, it’s the story of a lion-hearted guy and Kabir wishes to make this film with an A-List Superstar. The basics of the script is locked and he will be proceeding to casting from the month of January.” The source also added that a top actor from the industry has already shown an interest in the film. 

Kabir Khan to start work on Babbar Sher in the second half of 2024 

The source also told the publication that the director will actively begin work on the film after the shoot wrap of Chandu Champion. They added, “More meetings will take place in January once the work on Chandu Champion is wrapped up. Kabir is looking to start his journey on Babbar Sher from the second half of 2024, and is confident to get a top superstar to spearhead the project.” The source added that the film narrates a ‘character-driven’ story, and the director is excited about the same. 

Chandu Champion went on floors with its mahurat shot in London in the presence of Sajid & Warda Nadiadwala along with Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan present at the location with, a special guest of honour Minister of Culture, Media and Sports of the UK, Stuart Andrew. The film is being jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan. Chandu Champion has booked a grand release on the occasion of Eid in June 2024.
