According to reports, Ganesh said that the sexual harassment allegations made by Tanushree are false. Apparently, he also added that the unlike what the complainant said, the song was not picturised on her alone. Reportedly, he also said that the actress did not have any problem while the shoot was going on and the dance steps were not lewd or derogatory in any way. Finally, he allegedly said in his statement that Nana Patekar did not behave inappropriately towards her and that there were more than 200 people present on set at the time. Ganesh allegedly added that Rakhi Sawant was roped in as a last resort after the fallout with Tanushree and concluded by saying that he doesn't understand why these accusations were leveled against him. A few days before Ganesh's statement, Nana Patekar had also responded to the notice stating that the allegations are false and that nothing can be farther than the truth.

Meanwhile, Tanushree has already expressed ire on the fact that Women's commission is asking for more details as she said, "They have all the details they need and now they need to take action. Why don't the women's commission call Nana,Ganesh,Sami and Rakesh Sarang to appear before them?? I never had much hope from neither women's commission nor the law enforcement in this country. If the legendary Bhanwari Devi who was gang-raped by 4 men 30 years ago in Rajasthan is still waiting for justice, my harassment case is probably just a way for these institutions to show ppl that they exist."
