Akshay Kumar Attends Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Post- Wedding Bash After Covid Recovery

Akshay Kumar skipped the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Reportedly, the actor had contracted the coronavirus infection due to which he gave the events a miss. However, a new video shows him attending a post-wedding festivity of the newlyweds. 

Akshay Kumar visits Anitilia after skipping Ambani's wedding 

On July 15, days after the festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, actor Akshay Kumar along with his wife paid a visit to the newlyweds and the family. The actor and Twinkle Khanna were spotted at Antilia. A video of the same is now doing rounds on social media. 

In the video, for the post-wedding festivity, Akshay Kumar could be seen in a silver sequin kurta. He teamed the look with a matching bottom. Former actress and his wife Twinkle Khanna, also donned a matching shimmery outfit. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were among the few guests who skipped the ceremonies with others being, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Taapsee Pannu and Rani Mukerji to name a few. 

Why did Akshay Kumar miss Anant-Radhika's wedding? 

Akshay had reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. Due to this, he missed out on the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Center. According to reports, Akshay was under the weather for the past few days and decided to get himself checked. He tested positive for coronavirus on Friday morning and had isolated himself.

According to reports, people from Sarfira promotions team tested Covid positive prompting the Bollywood star to get himself checked as well. Turns out, he had contracted the virus. He was in complete isolation and so missed out on Anant and Radhika's wedding celebrations which began on July 12 and ended on July 14 with a grand reception.
