Akshay Kumar-Parineeti Chopra's Mission Raniganj song Keemti depicts life after marriage

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra are currently gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Mission Raniganj. Following the release of the high-energy dance number Jalsa 2.0 and the soulful rendition Jeeyenge, the makers unveiled the third song from the film's soundtrack, titled Keemti. This romantic melody, sung and composed by Vishal Mishra, with lyrics by Kaushal Kishore, and choreography by Shabina Khan, adds a romantic touch to the album.

• Mission Raniganj will be Parineeti Chopra's first release after her marriage to Raghav Chadha.
• This will be Parineeti and Akshay's second collaboration after Kesari (2019). 
• It will clash with Bhumi Pednekar starrer Thank You For Coming and the horror film The Exorcist: Believer on October 6.   

Keemti narrates Jaswant Singh Gill's love story 

Keemti features Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in a picturesque setting. This creates a delightful visual backdrop as their romance blossoms. The song has a melodious touch and its heartfelt lyrics make it a soothing listening experience. The song beautifully captures the precious bond that Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill (Akshay) and Nirdosh Kaur (Parineeti) shared. Both Akshay and Parineeti took to their respective social media handles to share the new song with their fans ahead of the film's release. Akshay emphasised the value of love by writing, "Pyaar = #Keemti. Song Video Out Now. Watch the story of Bharat’s true hero with #MissionRaniganj in cinemas on 6th October."

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Mission Raniganj is inspired by a real-life incident from November 1989, in Raniganj, West Bengal, where 65 workers were trapped inside a flooding coal mine. The film portrays the heroic efforts of mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill (portrayed by Akshay Kumar), who saved the miners' lives.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, the film features Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, Jameel Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, Mukesh Bhatt and Omkar Das Manikpuri.

Mission Raniganj is produced by Pooja Entertainment and is all set to hit theatres on October 6. The film promises to be a realistic portrayal of courage, heroism and the indomitable spirit of those who faced adversity head-on.
