Alia Bhatt Exudes Rani Chatterjee Vibes At Durga Puja Pandal, Seeks Blessings Post Jigra Release
Post release of Jigra, Alia Bhatt, in the company of Shaheen Bhatt, was seen at Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga.
Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra has hit the theatres today and on this note, the actress offered prayers at the Durga Puja Pandal in Mumbai seemingly for the good run of the movie. The actress, accompanied by her sister Shaheen Bhatt, met Kajol and her sister Tanishaa Mukerji, who are regulars at the Durga Puja pandal.

Several photos and videos are going viral on the internet that show Alia and Shaheen making their way through the crowd to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga. For the occasion, she looked pretty in a red saree, while her elder sister wore an embellished anarkali suit.
The actress also posed happily for the paps stationed at the venue.
On Thursday, Alia's husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor was snapped at the pandal, seeking blessings from the deity. His candid pictures with Rani Mukerji instantly went viral.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia's Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala is receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Seeing this, Kangana Ranaut indirectly took a jibe at the team and talked about karma in her cryptic post.

Jigra' revolves around a devoted sister who embarks on a harrowing journey to rescue her brother (played by Vedang Raina). A recreated version of the classic song 'Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka' is also included in the teaser, showcasing Vedang Raina's vocal talent.
Soon after the negative reviews started pouring in and cinema halls started cancelling the shows owing to low occupancy, Kanagan shared a post on her Instagram Stories that read, "When you destroy woman-centric films and make sure that they don't work, they don't work, even when you make them. Read that again. Thanks."
