Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone and the Ambani family had this common connection at Akash-Shloka's wedding that you just can't miss 

Reliance Chairperson Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's son, Akash Ambani tied the knot with Shloka Mehta in a grand ceremony on March 9 in Mumbai. The wedding took place  at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai at 7.30pm and prior to that, the Mangal Baaraat assembled at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30pm. From there the baaraatis left for the Jio World Centre, where high tea was hosted for the guests at Jio 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, the extravagant affair hosted several celebrities across domains. Popular Bollywood stars in the likes of Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar to name a few were present. There were also politicians from all over the world, who graced the occasion.

However, as pictures of the event and the Bollywood celebrities surfaced on social media, we realised that Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar and the Ambani family were wearing couture from the same designer, and that is Sabyasachi. All of them looked absolutely elegant and stunning in the pictures shared by the official Instagram handle of the designer.

Karan Johar and the 'Raazi' actress, Alia Bhatt left us stunned as they walked the green carpet shining in a neon yellow outfit, twinning with each other. However, while Alia appeared at the green carpet way later, Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor were one of the first few to arrive.

The Ambani Family 

The wedding festivities of this royal affair began on February 23, 2019 with a grand bash in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor among others. The celebrations took place at the Badrutt Palace.

The celebrations in Switzerland saw performances by Chris Martin of Coldplay and The Chainsmokers.

A private musical night at Antilia, followed by the Mala and Mehendi function, a Sangeet ceremony and Anna Seva at the Jio World Centre, were also hosted by the Ambani family.
