Alia Bhatt's sarees from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani to be available for sale

Actress Alia Bhatt received much acclaim for her performance as Rani Chatterjee in the recently-released Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani (RARKPK). Among the many things that were appreciated about the film was the wardrobe design. Alia Bhatt’s Sarees, in particular, had drawn a lot of attention for their nod to classic Hindi Film Heroine-styled look.

Alia Bhatt's sarees from RARKPK available for sale

Alia Bhatt has announced that all the costumes worn by her in the film would be made available for sale. The Raazi actor recently made a post on her social media handle, where she informed about her costumes in RARKPK being part of the latest edition of MiSu, the actor's wardrobe sharing initiative. Bhatt wrote, “There's been so much love for my sarees in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani that Manish [Malhotra] and I have been working closely together to ensure that all the sarees that I have worn while promoting the film, reach you, my dear Ranis.”

Bhatt further said in her statement, “100% of the proceeds from the sale of these sarees will go towards preventive and promotive healthcare of vulnerable women and children through SNEHA.” Alia Bhatt has been associated with MiSu for many years, and her Rocky Rani wardrobe sale would be the 13th edition of this edition. The name ‘MiSu’ for the initiative comes from the spanish words ‘Mi’ and ‘Su’ which mean ‘mine’ and ‘yours,' respectively.

Alia's Hollywood debut Heart of Stone to release on August 11

Besides her acclaimed performance in Rocky aur Rani kii Prem Kahani, Alia Bhatt has also been in news for her upcoming Hollywood movie Heart of Stone where she co-stars with Gal Gadot. Alia Bhatt reportedly plays the main antagonist in the film. Heart of Stone is set to go streaming online tomorrow on August 11.
