Animal actor Babloo Prithveeraj getting separated from wife Rukmini? Instagram activity indicates

Actor Babloo Prithiveeraj, who recently appeared in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, now finds himself in the news for another set of reasons altogether. It is now being rumoured that Babloo Prithiveeraj and his wife Rukmini Sheetal are parting ways.

Why did the rumours of Prithiveeraj’s divorce grow strong?

The rumours of the actor splitting up with his wife sprung up about the reports of both of them deleting their photos from social media. Later, the rumours grew stronger when Rukmini Sheetal liked a comment asking about her relationship status with Prithiveeraj. The netizen asked in the said comment, “Have you two broken up?” While Rukmini did not reply to the comment, she liked the said comment nonetheless, indirectly conveying her answer in the affirmative.

The rumours also sustained because of Rukmini’s absence at Prithiveeraj’s birthday bash on November 29. The actor, who turned 58 this year, had thrown a lavish party ahead of Animal’s release. 

Animal was Prithiveeraj’s Hindi film debut

Rukmini Sheetal, who is 25 years’ old, is Prithiveeraj’s second wife - the marriage between the two had made headlines last year because of their huge age-gap. Prithiveeraj had divorced his first wife Beena after 28 years of marriage, post which Rukmini and Prithiveeraj had tied the knot. Rukmini Sheetal is natively from Malaysia, and the two had met at an event in Malaysia where the actor was visiting for one of his film shoots. 

Animal was Prithiveeraj’s Hindi film debut, where he played the character of a mysterious businessman named Asrar Ul-Haque. Babloo Prithiveeraj has been active in film industry for over 30 years now, and has worked in popular films like Vaaranam Aayiram and Nannu Dochukunduvate among others. The actor was also a regular appearance on the popular Tamil show Vani Rani.
