Ayesha Kapur, Child Artist Who Beat Alia Bhatt To Bag A Role In SLB's Black, Is Now Married!

Child artist Ayesha Kapur, who played the role of young Rani Mukerji in the 2005 movie Black, has tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Aman Oberoi.

Ayesha Kapur tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Aman Oberoi. The actress is best known for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black (2005). She essayed the role of little Michelle McNally (whose grown-up version was played by Rani Mukerji) in the film and also shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan.

All about Ayesha Kapur who tied the knot in a dreamy wedding 

Photos from Ayesha Kapur's wedding began circulating online on March 23. As per report, the former actress tied the knot with her long -time boyfriend in an intimate ceremony in Delhi. For her big day, the now 28-year-old, donned a pink coloured lehenga teamed with chic jewellery.

After taking a break from acting, Ayesha went to study at Columbia in New York. However, she planned to return to the big screen and worked on her Hindi diction for nearly 6 months with Kulvinder Bakshish (The language coach who also trained Aamir Khan in Punjabi for Laal Singh Chaddha). Raised in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, Ayesha is now an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, went to Kovalam Beach. She was expected to make her acting debut as a lead in the movie Hari Ka Om, but not much is known about the project.

DYK Ranbir Kapoor trained Ayesha Kapur for her role in Black

Ayesha Kapur was ten years old when she featured in Black. As per reports, a young Alia Bhatt also auditioned for the same role that was later bagged by Ayesha. In an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan recalled how Ranbir Kapoor, who was an AD on Black, helped train the young actress for the role.

Speaking about the film Big B shared, “I was working in Black and Ranbir Kapoor was an assistant director there. I was in that film. When we were shooting for the film, I saw Ranbir train the young girl, who played visually impaired Michelle. He used to train her and also work as an AD. That’s how he got Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Sawaariya, which was his debut film.” Ayesha went on to do role in 2009 film Sikandar, as a child artist.
