Challenging traditional notions, Babil expressed his thoughts on the idea of 'getting' girls and remarked, “I don’t believe in the idea of ‘getting’ girls. I think the way patriarchy has developed itself is the idea that I need to approach a girl to ‘get’ her. Ye mere dimaag mein hai hi nahi (This doesn't exist in my mind). You don’t get a girl. You form a union in a way. It’s like you are sitting, and a woman comes and sits near you.”

He added, “If you go to a bar and start talking to somebody, I don’t move into that thinking that I am approaching a girl to get. It’s a normal conversation I am having. Where that goes (conversation), is its own journey.”
