Bobby Deol’s character to be revived in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park?

After the mammoth success of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, the makers had officially announced a sequel to their film titled Animal Park. The sequel promises to continue from where Animal had left off, after Ranvijay returns home upon achieving his goal. As suggested in the climactic portions of Animal, the sequel will focus on the enemy Aziz and his journey to avenge Ranvijay for killing his brothers. It was also implied that in the sequel, Ranbir Kapoor will probably appear in a double-role, both as Ranvijay and Aziz.

Characters are often revived even after they die: Bobby Deol had stated earlier

Since Bobby Deol’s character had died in Animal, fans were upset at the prospect that there would be no more of Bobby Deol in the Animal universe. However, as per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers are now planning to revive Bobby Deol’s character in the sequel.

Earlier, in an interview, Bobby Deol had expressed his willingness to be a part of the sequel, stated, “When we were shooting Animal, we would talk about a sequel in a hypothetical way; what it would be like if a sequel was to be made, how would my character be part of it, etc. I only know what you know. But I do know that characters when they become popular in a franchise, are revived even after they die.”

Animal nearing 900 crore mark at box office

Meanwhile, Animal is all set to cross the ₹900 crore mark at the global box office. As of January 1, the film had garnered 890 crores worldwide. It is even reported that the Animal team is planning a grand success party to celebrate its box office success. 

Besides Ranbir Kapor, Animal features stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. Additionally, the film also brought an actress like Triptii Dimri to popular attention, who appeared in a small yet impactful role in the film, playing a spy who falls in love with Ranvijay (Ranbir Kapoor).
