Calling all Amitabh Bachchan fans: Can you put a date to this incredible flashback with Abhishek?

On the occasion of the release of his father's latest film '102 Not-Out', Abhishek Bachchan has posted a remarkable throwback picture of the Shehenshah of Bollywood and himself.

The image, which Bachchan Junior says is from the mid-90s, is in black-and-white and captures the megastar in the midst of his transition -- from the angry young man of the 70s and 80s to the quizmaster and not-always-angry leading star of the noughties and 2010s.

The 1976-born Abhishek Bachchan appears to be in his late teens/early-20s and his features are unmistakable. Both of them are walking side-by-side, something that has been noted in the caption too and they look quite impressive in their almost neta-like white kurtas.

Abhishek Bachchan has posted the image as a  flashback on Friday to mark the release of his father's film that also stars Rishi Kapoor.

102 Not Out's trailer sees the leading pair rather aged, but not quite old enough to be breaking any records. While Rishi Kapoor has come to terms with his age, Amitabh Bachchan clearly hasn't, even at 102. And what's the connection that vastly complicates matters? Rishi Kapoor appears to be Amitabh Bachchan's son!

The father-son duo get into a range of adventures, not limited to singing in the rain, and even a few disputes, with threats of legal action being made.
