Diljit Dosanjh reveals the release date of Jodi through social media

The famous singer and entertainer, Diljit Dosanjh revealed the release date of the upcoming Punjabi film Jodi. He used social media as a way to connect to his audience and reveal the release date of the anticipated film starring Nimrat Khaira alongside. The cast is currently occupied shooting for the film. It is scheduled to hit the box office on June 26, 2020.

The movie is produced by Karaj Gill. It is written and directed by Amberdeep Singh. The picture that Diljit posted on his Instagram account had him sitting on top of a vehicle with his director Amberdeep Singh and producer Karaj Gill. To break the news, he captioned the picture with “ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਖ਼ਬਰੀ... ਛੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਜੋੜੀ. Releasing Worldwide # 26 June 2020 📌”

Furthermore, the movie Jodi is being produced by Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and Dalmora Films. Diljit Dosanjh is also all set to hit the big screens this year with the Bollywood film Good Newwz. The Hindi drama film is scheduled to release on December 27, 2019. Diljit will be seen sharing the screen with prominent faces like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Kiara Advani.

Born to a Sikh family in the village of Dosanjh Kalan, Phillaur tehsil, Jalandhar district, Punjab, Diljit was blessed with a flair for singing. He is recognised as one of the leading artists in the Indian Music Industry. His love for acting has served him well. Jatt & Juliet, Jatt & Juliet 2, Punjab 1984, Sardaar Ji, Ambarsariya, Sardaar Ji 2, Super Singh, Soorma, Sajjan Singh Rangroot and Shadaa are some of the actor’s finest works. His first commercial music hit was his solo track and music video Ishq Da Uda Ada from his 2004 album produced by Finetone Cassettes which is a division of T-series. He made his Bollywood debut with Udta Punjab where he worked alongside the star Shahid Kapoor. His performance in the film earned him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Diljit Dosanjh has worked multiple times with White Hill Productions and has also judged the famous T.V contest Rising Star.
