Singham Again Vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: The ongoing war between the makers of the two upcoming Diwali releases took an interesting turn on Tuesday as T-Series put a copyright strike on the use of Singham theme music which was used in the new Singham Again title track.
The rights to the Singham theme belong to T-Series, which was the film's music label when it was released in 2011. Due to the copyright strike, Saregama Music, the music partner of the Singham threequel, reuploaded a new version of the song on its YouTube channel two hours ago. Many on social media are floating memes about how the battle between the two movies is turning out. Some even called it "petty" on behalf of Bhushan Kumar, while others praised him for "playing it dirty" as it is about business.
No OG soundtrack of Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi in Singham Again
Since T-Series is the owner of Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi music rights, now, the original themes of the three characters will not be played in the movie as well. This copyright strike comes a day after the advance bookings of the Ajay Devgn , Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer opened ahead of its Diwali release on November 1, alongside Kartik Aaryan fronted Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. T-Series had the rights to the original Singham title track. It is believed that Rohit Shetty recreated it without officially buying the rights, which led to the strike on the Singham Again title track.
Social media was abuzz with memes after it became evident that this was a blunder on their behalf. A social media user commented, "It seems like Singham makers forgot they have a movie coming up in two days." Another one wrote, "Kalesh is on".

Netizens take sides in Singham Again copyright battle
Soon after Singham Again was faced with a copyright strike, netizens quickly took sides in the matter. Some were quick to call Bhushan Kumar "petty", while one noted, "Well this one is on Singham team to be so careless that they didn’t bother taking the rights before making the film lol (sic)."
Before this, the stage for battle was set as the makers of both movies fought for screen sharing. While Rohit Shetty and the team got PVRINOX to allot them 60 percent of the shows in their chains across India, Anil Thadani, the distributor of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, offered single-screen exhibitors a 30-feet cut out of Allu Arjun as he clubbed the Telugu star's upcoming Pushpa: The Rule with Kartik fronted horror-comedy.
