Fighter: Deepika Padukone drops new poster on Christmas, begins 1-month release countdown for film

After becoming the highest-grossing actress of 2023, Deepika Padukone is all set to rule in 2024 as well. One of her highly-awaited releases for the upcoming year is Sidharth Anand’s Fighter which is releasing on January 25, 2024. The actress has dropped a new poster of the movie as she began a one-month countdown for Fighter release.

Sharing the poster, Deepika wrote, “1 month to go! Experience #Fighter only in theatres on 25th January, 2024.”

Teaser of Fighter hints at action-packed drama

Recently, the creators unveiled the official teaser of the movie which garnered a positive response from enthusiasts. The one-minute 14-second glimpse introduces Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, alias Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, alias Minni, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, alias Rocky, dedicatedly fighting for the nation.

The teaser captures the lead cast soaring through the skies in their fighter jets, executing impressive aerial maneuvers. Additionally, it offers a sneak peek into a lively party sequence featuring the main cast and a passionate kissing scene between the lead duo - Hrithik and Deepika.

Culminating on a high note, the teaser concludes with the resonant melody of 'Sujlam Suflam' playing in the background, accompanying a powerful moment as Hrithik unfurls the Tricolour from his aircraft.

The movie is being bankrolled by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures. The movie is a massive actioner primarily shot at Indian air bases with real Sukhois and Indian fighter planes. Apart from Hrithik, Anil and Deepika, Fighter also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.

The Fighter team recently released Ishq Jaisa Kuch, the second song from the film. T-Series shared a video on YouTube featuring Hrithik and Deepika dancing and romancing on a beach. Sung by Vishal and Shekhar, Shilpa Rao, and Mellow D, the video is shot at a picturesque beach location and displays the sizzling chemistry reminiscent of previous hits like Ghungroo Toot Gaye and Khuda Jaane.
