He further added that Gadar 2 will manage to collect between Rs. 120 crore and Rs 140 crore in its extended five-day weekend even if the content is mediocre. "And if the response is positive, then the sky is the limit. It can go from Rs 150-200 crores as well," added Kadel.
The analyst also mentioned that 60 to 70 percent of Gadar 2's collections will come from single screens and mass centres, especially small centres like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Meanwhile, another trade analyst Ramesh Bala predicted that Gadar 2 will earn Rs. 25 crore at the box office on the first day. He stated that the booking for Gadar 2 is quite impressive, especially in the rural suburbs and halls with single screens. The analyst further claimed that if word of mouth is good, the movie can earn up to Rs. 100 crore at the box office in the extended weekend.
While talking about Gadar 2, trade analyst Sumit Kadel mentioned that the legacy of Sunny Deol's Gadar is responsible for the sequel getting impressive advance bookings. He further added, "Sunny Deol’s films do well. It is because of the brand and the legacy that you’re seeing such a humongous craze for the film."
