Govinda's Wife Sunita Ahuja Claims She Taught Acting And Dance To Actor: When We Were Dating...

Govinda is one of the celebrated actors who ruled Bollywood in the 90s with his blockbuster movies. The actor was hailed for his comic timing, dance and acting skills. But in a recent interview, his wife Sunita Ahuja claimed the credit for his dance and acting skills. She shared that it was she who taught the veteran actor acting and dance.

Sunita Ahuja taught Govinda acting and dance?

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Sunita shared that when the couple were dating each other at that time she taught Govinda dance and acting. "Aaj acting kitni achi karta hai, maine sikhaya hai. Dance kisne sikhaya, maine sikhaya. (Govinda acts superb. I have taught him. Who taught him dance? I did). When we were dating, we used to dance together a lot. My sister got married to his brother-in-law, and we would compete over who danced better. The winner would get ₹50. It was always me who won!" she was quoted saying.

She further claimed of being offered a movie Tan Badan opposite Govinda but she turned the offer down as she was not interested in acting.

Recently, Govinda along with his wife and daughter appeared in an interview. When asked about her thoughts on Govinda working with female co-stars, Sunita shared that she and her husband do not have a conventional “husband and wife” relationship. She said, “Aaj tak bhi nhi lagta ki hum husband-wife hai. (Even today, I don’t feel that we’re man and wife.)"

Sunita also talked about their light-hearted argument portraying their friendly bond, saying, “Galiya galoch chalti hai humari. (We use abusive language with each other)." She humorously admitted that she often doubts whether Govinda is truly her husband, adding, “Mujhey aaj tak vishwaas nhi hora tu mera pati hai. (I still can’t believe you’re my husband.)"
