Ranveer Singh, who started off the year on a high note with 'Padmaavat', is ending it again on a similar vein. The actor's latest release 'Simmba' has been received really well by the audiences. It is certainly one of the biggest high points in his career and after all the love, the actor has revealed how he is taking it all in.

Speaking about the cop movie's fantastic start, he said that it is a truly humbling experience for him. He added that as an artist he has always been trying new things as a performer and he is glad that the audiences are approving of his choices. Ranveer also said that it has been a phenomenal year for him on both personal and professional. By personal, he is, of course, addressing his recent nuptials with longtime girlfriend Deepika Padukone. 

Also talking about his character in the film, he revealed that it was not an easy role to play but just put his head down and worked. Ranveer also thanked Rohit Shetty in particular for believing in him that he could pull off a masala entertainer by himself. Finally, he concluded his take by thanking everyone for the overwhelming love and support. Well, as he finishes off this year on such a good note, he has now jetted off for a much required holiday with his wife.

It must be noted that the Bollywood livewire had jumped headfirst into dubbing and later promoting the Rohit Shetty directorial as soon as he got married. With the last few weeks being so hectic professionally, the actor is now on a much needed personal break post which he will return to what he believes is one of the most challenging roles in his career-which is that of Kapil Dev. 

In the meantime, Ranveer had also made headlines after he was spotted paying surprise visits to many cinema halls to see how people are reacting to 'Simmba'.
