Malaika Arora's Father's Death: On September 11, Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora breathed his last. As per media reports, he fell off a three-storey building in Mumbai. Anil was a veteran in the Indian merchant navy and is survived by his two daughters Malaika and Amrita Arora and his ex-wife Joyce Polycarp.

Despite Malaika’s strong presence among the paparazzi, Anil Arora had always remained out of the limelight. The model actress has on several occasions spoken about her bond with her father. Malaika, and her mother Joyce have often shared family pictures on Instagram. Be it during the birthday celebrations or any festive occasion. 

During the nationwide lockdown, the actress-model opened up about how she missed her family. She posted a picture of them on Instagram and wrote, “50 days n counting…miss you guys”. This reflects the good bond the actress with her father.

In another post, Malaika shared some heartfelt moments with her family, Anil Arora, her sister Amrita and mother Joyce. She wished her mother for her birthday.

Malaika’s mother Joyce shared a wholesome picture of the family while they celebrated Diwali together.

Despite their separation, Joyce Polycarp and Anil Arora shared an amicable relationship. She had also shared a photo with her ex-husband of her with the caption, “Just another picture”.

How did Anil Arora die? 

Actress-model Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora died by falling off the third floor of his apartment building. The incident took place in Bandra, Mumbai at around 9.00 AM on Wednesday morning.  According to media reports, the remains have been taken for postmortem to Bhabha Hospital. Other details related to the death are still under development. Police are investigating the matter.
