Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone gave their fans a sweet surprise on Tuesday, 20 November by sharing numerous pictures from their wedding ceremonies on social media. Just when ‘Deepveer’ lovers thought they had to make do with the two pictures that they shared on the second day of their wedding, the newlyweds made their day with multiple photographs.

From Mehendi to the respective wedding ceremonies according to Konkani and Sindhi rituals that took place at the Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy, on 14 and 15 November, the photographs are nothing short of a dream. Right from the seriousness in some rituals to their wide smiles during the fun-filled customs, the pictures would no doubt take you to Lake Como for a moment. 

One of the notable features in the pictures is how Ranveer shared the moment where he applies the ‘tilak’ on Deepika’s forehead during the Konkani ceremony and the latter does so for the ‘Padmaavat’ star.

The ritual of applying the ‘tilak’ on the forehead is considered an important in Hindu religion standing for spirituality, auspiciousness, and a notable symbol before one takes any new and important step in their life. The actors sharing pictures of the moments in close-up view speaks about its relevance in their lives too.  The couple is currently in Bengaluru, Deepika's hometown for their reception, likely to be held on 21 November. The guests for the occasion are likely to be the actor's near and dear ones. This will be followed by a gathering for Bollywood stars in Mumbai on 28 November.
