Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection: Prabhas Starrer Becomes 2nd Highest Hindi Grosser Of 2024

Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD minted ₹11.50 crore on the seventh day at the domestic box office in the Hindi version.

Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD, which had a blockbuster opening weekend at the box office, is struggling to find a steady ground. With every passing day, the movie is witnessing a dip in its numbers. However, despite the low trends, the movie was able to surpass ₹150 crore mark in just Hindi language.

Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi thriller minted ₹11.50 crore on the seventh day at the domestic box office in the Hindi version. Adding the Wednesday collection, the total now stands at ₹153.15 crore net in India. Seeing the trends, it seems the movie will hit the double century in the second week. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh pointed out, "Collecting in double digits on weekdays speaks of its solid hold... It also indicates that the movie has found acceptance, which, in turn, is reflecting in its numbers."

Kalki 2898 AD had an overall 21.24 per cent Hindi occupancy in 2 2D version and 25.51 per cent in the 3D version on Wednesday.

Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, the movie was able to mint ₹366 crore nett in the first week while India's gross stands at ₹430 crore. On the seventh day, the movie was able to mint ₹22.25 crore with a maximum in the Hindi version - ₹11.15 crore. Kalki 2898 AD had an overall 31.38 per cent Telugu occupancy in the 2D version while in the 3D it had 30.59 per cent occupancy on Wednesday.

Altogether, the movie had a good run at the box office and maintained its - double-digit earnings - on the weekday as well.
