Kangana Ranaut will be seen next in Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata. The actress will star in the lead role in the movie announced today, September 3. The announcement comes at a time when the actress-turned-politician is awaiting the release of her movie Emergency.

Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X and shared, “KANGANA RANAUT TO STAR IN 'BHARAT BHHAGYA VIDDHAATA'... #KanganaRanaut will essay the central role in #BharatBhhagyaViddhaata... The film will showcase the remarkable stories of ordinary people and their extraordinary achievements.
He further added, “Directed and written by #ManojTapadia - whose experience spans both advertising and cinema - #BharatBhhagyaViddhaata is produced by #BabitaAshiwal [Eunoia Films] and #AdiSharmaa [Floating Rocks Entertainment].”
Delay of Kangana’s upcoming film Emergency
Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency has been making headlines. Apex Sikh religious bodies had earlier filed an FIR on the movie makers over the portrayal of the community in a bad light. The actress, who has also directed the film, confirmed that the censor board has put an halt on the release of the movie which was scheduled to hit the big screen on September 6.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) sent a legal notice to CBFC seeking to prevent the release of Ranaut's film, claiming it may "incite communal tensions" and "spread misinformation". It alleged the trailer of the film depicted "erroneous historical facts that not only misrepresent the Sikh community but also promote hatred and social discord". She had also said she is under pressure to not show the assassination of the former prime minister by her security guards.
Emergency film is based on the incidents that have taken place under the leadership of Mrs Indira Gandhi, one of the most powerful women in Indian history. The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Vishak Nair, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade and Mahima Chaudhary among others. New release date of the movie is awaited.
