Kangana Ranaut's Chandramukhi 2 is all set for its world television premiere

Actress Kangana Ranaut, unfailingly impressed the audience with her acting prowess both in Hindi and South cinema, recently received praise for her South Indian movie called Chandramukhi 2. The latest buzz about this movie is that the Telugu version is all set for the world television premiere on December 31, 2023, at 6 PM on Gemini TV. On the other side, the Tamil version will be aired on Sun TV at 06:30 PM on January 1, 2024.

What do we know about Kangana Ranaut's Chandramukhi 2?

Directed by P Vasu, the movie features Raghava Lawrence as the protagonist, this horror-comedy film has Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Rao Ramesh, and others in the lead roles. MM Keeravaani composed the music.

The movie was released on September 28, 2023. When the trailer was released, director P.Vasu’s sequel embodied heavily reminiscent of Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, with a very clear level of supernatural horror involved with psychological thrills, much like the 2007 Bollywood film and its 1993 Malayalam counterpart Manichitrathazhu.

P.Vasu’s 2004 original also had the same element of intrigue and this time too it knows how to grasp attention. Cutting to the past, it shows Chandramukhi dancing in Vettiyan Raja’s court. Raghava Lawrence plays the role of both the present-day Vettiyan as well as the old King of the past.

As per reports, Chandramukhi 2 borrowed the story from its prequel, itself a remake of Mohanlal and Shoban''s Manichithrathazhu. Radhika Sarathkumar's daughter elopes with her husband and earns the wrath of the family.

As per trade reports, Chandramukhi 2 earned 40.33 crores net at the Indian box office. grossed, at equals 47.58 crores, which is disheartening. In the overseas market, the film has earned around 9 crores gross, with a total of 56.58 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
