Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of his film Chandu Champion. The sports drama film will hit the big screens on June 14. Ahead of the release of the movie, the actor has shared his opinion on the pressures of the box office, flexibility in actor’s fees and more. 

Kartik Aaryan talks about anticipated box office numbers 

Kartik Aaryan, in an interview with Pinkvilla, spoke about the anticipation of box office numbers once he signs a new film. The actor revealed if he has an estimate of how much a film can collect when he is signing a new film. He simply suggested that he wished all his movies to be profitable for the producers. 

Kartik Aaryan told the publication, “I don't think about a specific number. Yes, it should be profitable for my producers. And there is no limit to how much profit it can make. All I want is that my producers don't lose money. Also, I try to I find my creative satisfaction too.” 

Kartik Aaryan clears the air on commercial vs concept films 

In the same conversation, Kartik Aaryan also spoke about the perceived difference between commercial and concept movies. The actor shared, “We often feel that when we do a mainstream film, it will be very profitable or will open big, but it happens to be that sometimes, something very unique attaches to a lot of people.” 

Talking specifically about himself, he added, “There is no formula to that. I go with my gut feeling. When I listen to the story, I think whether I liked it or not and whether I want to go see it in a theatre or not.” Following Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan will feature in the third instalment of the horror comedy movie Bhool Bhuliyaa 3.
