Katrina Kaif reveals working with Merry Christmas director Sriram Raghavan is 'dream come true'

Katrina Kaif is all set to star in the mystery thriller film Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The film will mark the actress's first onscreen pairing with the actor as well as her first collaboration with the filmmaker. In a new interview, Katrina spoke about her experience of working with Raghavan.  

Katrina Kaif calls working with Sriram Raghavan a ‘dream come true’ 

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina Kaif opened up about collaborating with Badlapur director Sriram Raghavan for the first time. The actress called the feeling a ‘dream come true’. She shared working on the film was like entering a new world. 

Katrina shared, “Working with Sriram Raghavan sir was a dream come true for me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had that opportunity; he's a phenomenal director with an incredible mind, and being on his set is like entering a whole different world.” She shared she has been very excited about the film’s release and added, “Working with Sriram Raghavan sir was a dream come true for me. Katrina Kaif heaps praises on co-star Vijay Sethupathi 

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina Kaif heaped praises on her Merry Christmas co-star Vijay Sethupathi. She called him, “very philosophical and he is very very wise.” She further commented that the actor did not speak to her much during the filming of the movie. Katrina reasoned that she thought the director Sriram Raghavan must have asked everyone to not talk on set. She came to this conclusion after speaking with Varun Dhawan, who worked with Sriram in Badlapur, who confirmed that the director insists people maintain decorum on sets. 

Katrina said, “I came to know later that Sriram sir possibly told people that they should not talk too much to me on set. Varun Dhawan told this to me. He was asking, ‘What’s it like working with Sriram sir?’ I said, ‘He is amazing, his world is amazing but nobody talks too much to me on set.’ I was really questioning myself. He said, ‘Don’t worry, he has told everyone not to talk to you.’ I don’t know if that’s true.”
