The makers have finally unveiled the first track of Merry Christmas titled Nazar Teri Toofan on Thursday, January 4. Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, the track was unveiled at a grand launch event in Mumbai. It is an enchanting and soulful track for all the lovers out there.

The clip opens with the soulful voice of Papon introducing Katrina and Vijay. The track then showcases the duo's chemistry and the awkward silences they shared during their date night. However, towards the end of the track, the clip offers a glimpse of the duo's evil sights hinting at their love-hate relationship. Sung by Papon, Nazar Teri Toofan is composed by Pritam, and written by the National Award-winning lyricist Varun Grover.

Katrina Kaif also shared the song on her Instagram handle and captioned it as "Today’s schedule: Listening to #NazarTeriToofan on loop!"

Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, the film stars Ashwini Kalsekar, Radhika Apte, Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Radhika Sarathkumar and Gayathrie in supporting roles in both Hindi and Tamil versions, respectively. During the launch event, the actress recalled her first meeting with co-star Vijay and said, "Our first meeting was all three of us (Katrina, Vijay and Sriram Raghavan) together in a room and I had recently seen a picture of Vijay Sir and he had full white hair and a white beard. So when I entered into the office I didn't know what to expect and when I saw him like this I said "Oh wow" that's a really different look."

She added, "The minute Vijay sir started speaking about the scene it was fascinating, I just thought that this is the person who uses things in such a unique way and Sriram Sir has a very unique take on everything he does."

Merry Christmas is slated to hit the theatres on January 12.
