Madhuri Dixit opens about teaming up with husband Sriram Nene for her production debut Panchak

Madhuri Dixit has stepped in the shoes of a producer for the upcoming Marathi film Panchak. The ace actress has collaborated with her husband Dr Shriram Nene for the production venture. In a new interview, the Aaja Nachle actress opened up about collaboration with her husband on the professional front.

Madhuri Dixit says she split jobs with her husband Shriram Nene for Panchak 

The movie, Panchak will hit the big screen on January 5. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Madhuri Dixit opened up about working with her husband on a film. The Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress says, “Oh it’s been great because we have like split our jobs.”

Explaining further, the actress called her husband and herself the ‘left and right’ side of the brain. She shared, “My job is..I’m the creative head. I look for scripts, and the casting, and everything is done and he looks after the finances of the film, how the workflow is going to happen, and how the budgets are going to get done. So in a film, we are like the left brain and the right brain. So we have divided our jobs accordingly. It’s a great partnership.” 

Madhuri Dixit hopes Panchak is received well by the audience 

2023 was not the best year for Madhuri as she lost her mother. However, the actress is hoping for a better start to the new year with her upcoming film hitting theatres. Talking about the same the Beta actress shared, “It’s going great. This is my first film which is going to the theatres and I miss my mom. I know she is watching and I know is blessing me from wherever she is. But of course, my other parents are here like my mother-in-law is here, and my father-in-law is here with us so we are blessed. My kids are here so they will get to see the film released in the theatre. And I’m very excited, I’m very upbeat about it.”

The actress further said that she is waiting for the release of the film and hoping that the audience receives it well. She said, “We sat in the theatre and watched it with people and saw that the response was very good. They were laughing, clapping and they were enjoying. So everything till now has been great and people have loved the trailer so we are very upbeat about it. But we are just hoping and praying that everything goes off well” Ahead of the release of the film, the actress along with her husband Shriram Nene offered prayers at Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai.
