Munjya, starring Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma, managed to pass the Monday test by earning slightly less than what the movie earned on the first day at the domestic box office. On its first weekday, the supernatural horror comedy earned ₹4.11 crore. However, on the fifth day of the release earned equal to what the movie earned on the opening day. Seeing the Tuesday collection, the movie seems unstoppable at the box office in India.
Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, the movie minted ₹4.21 crore at the domestic box office, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Adding the Tuesday collection, the total now stands at ₹28.36 crore in India. Munjya had an overall 17.68 per cent Hindi occupancy on Tuesday with the maximum reported in the Jaipur region (23.25 per cent).

Seeing the daily collection pace, the movie is expected to cross over ₹30 crore in total collection by the end of the week.
Co-starring Mona Singh and Sathyaraj, Munjya follows the story of the eponymous mythical creature and how he wreaks havoc in the life of Bittu (played by Abhay). It all happens when Bittu, visits his native village and learns a family secret about a vengeful spirit, Munjya, who wants to get married. Now, Bittu must fight to protect himself and his love from Munjya's clutches, leading to a humorously chaotic and terrifying adventure.
