Ishq Vishk Rebound is all set to hit the big screens on June 21. The film features Rohit Saraf, Jibran Khan and Pashmina Roshan in the lead roles and the trailer for the same was launched in Mumbai today, June 11. At the launch, the director and the star came together to answer the questions from the audience.

Will Shahid Kapoor appear in Ishq Vishk Rebound? 

On June 11, the director and the stars of the upcoming film Ishq Vishk Rebound came together to unveil the trailer of the movie. The 2 minutes trailer narrates two intertwined college love stories against the backdrop of friendship. At the trailer launch, the director, Nipun Dharmadhikari spoke about the movie and if original star Shahid Kapoor will make an appearance. 

Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao made their debut with the 2003 film Ishq Vishk. Fans of the Kabir Singh actor are anticipating his cameo in the upcoming movie as well. As per Free Press Journal speaking at the trailer launch event the director shared, “You will know that on June 21.”

Is Ishq Vishk Rebound is a sequel to Ishq Vishk?

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Taurani said that they had always thought that whenever they took Ishq Vishk as a movie franchise ahead, the idea would be to work with young and fresh talent including the actors and director. Speaking about the cast of the movie, he said, “Rohit Saraf is a young heartthrob, we are launching Pashmina Roshan and Jibraan Khan and also presenting Naila Grrewal. This is also Nipun Avinash Dharmadhakari’s first Hindi directorial.”

Taurani added that the movie is a modern take on love, friendship, relationships and its complications today. Ishq Vishk Rebound follows the lives of four young people who become enmeshed in a web of friendship, love, and self-discovery.
