Panipat: Fans react to Kriti Sanon's first look as Parvati Bai

Kriti Sanon took to her social media to share the first look of her character Parvati Bai in the upcoming movie Panipat. The movie traces the story of the historical event of the Third Battle of Panipat, which took place in the year 1761. The movie is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, who is known for his expertise when it comes to historical films.

Kriti Sanon looks like an elegant Maratha beauty in her look as Parvati Bai. Parvati Bai was the wife of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, who served as the Sardar Senapati in the Maratha Army. Sanon captioned this first look post saying that 'A true queen needs no crown'.

Along with her character's first look, she also shared the look of Sanjay Dutt from Panipat on her Instagram. The actor is playing the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali, who was the leader of the enemy Afghan army. In the caption, Sanon wrote, 'Death Strikes Where His Shadow Falls.' Here is Sanjay's first look:

Panipat stars Arjun Kapoor as Sadashiv Rao Bhau, which means he will be seen opposite Kriti. Other actors who are a part of this ambitious project are Zeenat Aman, Mir Sarwar, Nawab Shah, Mohnish Bahl, and Padmini Kolhapure. The movie will be out in theatres on December 6, 2019.
