Rakul Preet Singh is gearing up for his film, Marjaavaan, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria. The actor will also be seen in the much-anticipated Tamil film, Indian 2. Rakul will be sharing the screen with megastar Kamal Haasan in the film. The film, Indian 2, is touted to be a high octane vigilante movie. Rakul Preet Singh recently resumed shooting for the film in Chennai. There were some rumours that the actor will not be starring in the film owing to her other commitments. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same.

Rakul Preet Singh will be paired opposite actor Siddharth in Indian 2

Reportedly, an important sequence of the film involving Rakul Preet Singh along with actors Jagan, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Rishi is being shot in Sriperumbudur. The reports add that the cast of the film will continue the shoot till October 7, 2019. Kamal Haasan will then join the rest of the cast in a day or two. According to media reports, Rakul Preet Singh will be paired opposite South actor Siddharth in the film.

Indian 2 is a sequel of the 1996 film Indian

The film is helmed by Shankar. The film is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian. Indian 2 will also star Kajal Aggarwal in a pivotal role. The actor will start shooting for her portions in November. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions. It will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. The film will be hitting the screens on April 14, 2020. Rakul Preet Singh was also seen in the Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer, De De Pyaar De. The film managed to earn good numbers at the box office. Rakul Preet Singh’s performance was much appreciated by the viewers. The actor will also be seen in the Tamil films, Nithiin 28 and Jagath Jenthri.
