Ranbir Kapoor's Animal is one of the biggest hits of 2023 despite being extremely controversial. While actors like Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Karnick have already defended the film, actor KP Singh opened up about some behind-the-scenes details from the shooting of the movie. Speaking to YouTuber Vanshaj Saxena, he said that Vanga would abuse people who would be having fun during the shoot of the film.
What did KP Singh say about Sandeep Reddy Vanga?
KP Singh, who played Ranbir's cousin in Animal, shared that the film was very precious to Sandeep Reddy Vanga and he paid attention to every little detail of the film. However, he added that he would be serious during the shoot and if he saw anyone laugh or have fun around the set, he would abuse them. He shared, "Scene ke time pe mazak nahi karte the bilkul bhi. Koi door se bhi hasta hua nazar aa gaya toh unko gaali padti thi. (While shooting a scene he would not be making jokes and all. If he even spotted anyone laughing, he would get abused)."
How was Sandeep Reddy Vanga's behaviour on the set?
During the same interview, KP Singh was asked if Vanga would get angry at people on the set. Responding to the question, he said, "Daant toh dete the yaar. Daanta bhi acha lagta hai. Tum daant kha rahe ho toh matlab kuch seekh rahe ho (He would scold. Scolding is nice because if you are getting scolded, it means you are learning something)."
KP further added that Sandeep Reddy Vanga was actually when to hang out with when not shooting for Animal. "He looks serious but he really isn’t. He is quite serious on shoot. He doesn’t like jokes then. Otherwise he would be quite jovial around us," he said.
