Real Reason Behind Sonakshi Sinha's Recent Hospital Visit Revealed, And It's Not Pregnancy

Shatrughan Sinha has been in the news owing to his daughter Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. The couple got married on June 23. However, a few days later, the veteran actor was reported to be admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for a routine checkup. However, now a source close to IANS revealed that the 77-year-old actor underwent minor surgery.

A source told IANS that the senior actor had a hectic schedule recently due to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections polling campaign, followed by his daughter Sonakshi’s wedding. However,  there’s no clarity about the surgery, but the source added that the actor is currently stable and under observation. The doctors are yet to react as to when Shatrughan Sinha will be discharged from the hospital.

Earlier, when Sonakshi visited the hospital with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, it raised speculations about her pregnancy. However, the source confirmed that the actress went to the hospital to see her father.

A video of the couple went viral on the Internet that shows them leaving in their car from Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Soon after the video went viral, netizens flooded the comment section, speculating the actress was pregnant. A user wrote, "Junior chulbul Pandey is coming swagat toh humara." Another wrote, "Sona is pregnant.!" However, the reason behind the newlyweds' visit to the hospital was that she went to check on the veteran Bollywood star.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal dated for seven years before taking a plunge. They had a civil marriage which was followed by a lavish yet intimated wedding reception. It was attended by their families and close friends including Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Siddharth-Aditi Rao Hydari, Rekha, Raveena Tandon and more.
