Sandeep talks about the infamous intimate scenes between Triptii Dimri and Ranbir Kapoor

Vanga revealed that the shot between the duo was initially limited to them getting close and cut to them lying on each other. But after reviewing, Sandeep thought it wasn’t effective. He told Gallata Plus, "Thoda toh warm up dikhaenge nahi toh audience (will be like), ‘Kya ho raha hai?’ Shot ka value kharab ho jaega” (We'll show a bit of warm-up; otherwise, the audience will be like, 'What's happening?' The value of the shot will be compromised).

Sandeep’s briefing about the scene to Triptii and Ranbir was, ‘It will look like a painting.’ He explained, “So when he says ‘I knew the day one that you are this,’ then there's a question that he would've threatened her but knowing the fact if you threaten she'll not open." He said that the intensity in this scene shall translate to the movie's sequel, Animal Park.

He shared with Connect FM Canada, “I was searching for an old folk song and we found (Bhupinder) Babbal ji’s song on YouTube. It had 350 views in five years, same song, the same tune, but nobody noticed it. I said I need this song and we got hold of this man, he was somewhere in Canada. He flew to Chandigarh and I met him in Delhi. I told him I need your song and he graciously removed it from YouTube and we added some music to it and that’s it.”
