Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor have a funny take on their alleged rivalry, here's what they had to say

Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor both made their much anticipated on-screen debut in 2018. Both starlets were really praised for their performances in their respective projects. However, there has been an alleged rivalry between the two divas long before they even made an on-screen appearance. Being in a similar age group and starting out at almost the same time, comparisons between the two were inevitable. Finally, the two have broken their silence on this alleged rivalry, and their take is truly hilarious.

The two were of course really dismissive about it and feel that it just something that has been created out of thin air. Sara jokingly quipped that there was a recent one where the duo's looks were compared in a saree. To this, Janhvi replied that she has seen that floating around and suggested to the 'Simmba' actress that they should make red carpet appearances together.

To this, Sara narrated a really funny incident that happened on the premiere of 'Kedarnath'. When Janhvi made an appearance at the event, the paparazzi started clicking pictures and she quickly retorted that now they won't need to make collages of them anymore. Other than this funny incident, the 'Kedarnath' actress also revealed that she had also directly addressed Janhvi on camera during the promotions of 'Kedarnath'.

Although in earnest, when the two were asked if such comparisons increase the competitiveness between them, Janhvi replied that it actually acts as a motivation for her. She added that she actually wants to learn from Sara in the effortless way in which she conducts herself. To this Sara quipped that one should always be comfortable in their own skin. Well, from all this it is clear that there is literally no rivalry between the two and they seem keen to help each other grow. 

On the professional front, Janhvi has already been roped in for Karan Johar's 'Takht' whereas Sara is currently basking in the success of her two latest releases. 'Simmba' starring Ranveer Singh and her continues to roar at the box office and rake in some serious moolah.
